It's only 2 months late..

Crosby's birthday invite is finally posted! That's pretty much all I have to say about it. Haha!

Lately.

Well I have been a liiiiiiiiiittle M.I.A. the past month. There has just been SO much going on so I have had no time to blog! The month of October was basically a blur...totally fun, but a blur. Some of the highlights include a bestie's housewarming party, a roadtrip to Alabama for another bestie's wedding, Crosby's first birthday & birthday party, Crosby's first [official] Halloween (last year didn't count to me because he was only 2 weeks old), first friend bday party and so much more.  I have a few projects that have been in the works that I will post next week...promise!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Crosby's 1st Birthday Photoshoot



So Crosby is officially O-N-E! A few weeks before his birthday we took him to downtown Dallas to Deep Ellum for his 1 year photoshoot because I knew I wanted to incorporate a picture on his birthday invitation. Deep Ellum is known for having alot of cool graffiti so I knew we could find something colorful and a little off-beat for his pictures since the theme of his party was going to be "neon."  I made a custom tee for Cros to wear and he sported his neon Vans. I also ordered some "geronimo" style balloons and cut up a bunch of neon confetti to go inside...too bad the balloon didn't quite get blown up to its expected size and too bad it was SO windy that day that the balloon barely made an appearance...oh well.

Friday Finds 9.27.13

I am going to TRY to start a series called "Friday Finds" where I post things I am diggin' each week.  It may be a project to try, recipe to make (or have someone else make me), something I want to wear, products I love, or simply something that I think is funny because let's face it, I love a good laugh.   We will see if I can keep up with it! :)

I am in LOVE with these 2 mugs from the Etsy shop ChantillyStay.  Unfortunately the first mug is sold but the second one is still available..and maybe my favorite.

 

 

I have no idea where this sweater is from but I know I need to find it immediately. This is the perfect lightweight sweater to wear with jeans/leggings this Fall.

 





 



And Homemade Pumpkin Fro-Yo?! I don't cook but I am pretty sure I could handle this...especially since there's only 4 ingredients! Check out the recipe on Babble.

Crosby's Birthday Invite Sneak Peek

Crosby's birthday is only a few weeks away (what?!?!?) so invitations are almost ready to go out, I am just waiting on the return address stickers to get here.  So I thought I would give you a preview of his envelopes and just a peek at the actual invite.  I will be posting full pictures next week!
